Scholarship and grant programs that empower PVSD students and teachers one at a time.
Our Programs
Important initiatives that support in need students and staff within the local community.
Sadly, many students and teachers in the Pojoaque Valley School District battle financial hardships and other challenges that keep them from realizing their full potential. The Pojoaque Valley Schools Educational Foundation provides a way for citizens and organizations to support individuals and families in crisis while further impacting the quality of educational opportunities at our local schools.
Our mission is to inspire and promote community commitment to support excellence in teaching, learning, and citizenship. Through tax deductible donations by local community supporters, our foundation is able to fund important initiatives that “level the playing field” for students and staff in crisis. Scholarship Program
It’s hard to succeed in today’s fast-paced, highly-competitive business world without a college or trade school education. Our scholarships give in need students the opportunity to continue their education and pursue their career dreams once they’ve graduated from high school. PVSEF scholarship qualifiers include academic achievement, ethnic background, and household income.
Grant Program
Far too many otherwise qualified teachers in the Pojoaque School District fail to realize their full potential due to a lack of financial resources and emotional support. Awarded in recognition of classroom achievement and teaching excellence, our innovative grants empower PSD staff members in crisis by providing them with the encouragement and financial assistance they need.
